This innovative partnership brings the convenience of ride-sharing to charitable giving, allowing donors to schedule pick-ups for their bagged and boxed donations for a small fee. Here’s how you can get started:
Step 1: Prepare Your Items Acceptable Items
Before arranging a pickup, ensure that your items meet these requirements:
- Up to 5 Bags/Boxes: You can donate a max of 5 bags/boxes.
- Weight Limit: Each item should weigh less than 50 lbs (22.5 kg). All items should be light enough for one person to carry. No fragile, bulky, or oversized items.
- Packed & Ready to go: Make sure your donations are ready for pickup with Uber before completing a request.
Step 2: Schedule Your Pickup

- Choose the Quantity: Indicate the number of bags/boxes you are donating, with a maximum of 5 bags/boxes.
