LatinX in Finance Training Program
Ready for a career in banking or finance? Banks and credit unions offer many job opportunities ranging from bank tellers to customer service representatives as well as perks like competitive pay, advancement potential and work life balance. Goodwill and UnidosUS offer LatinX in Finance, an eight week hybrid training program that teaches cash handling, customer service, effective communication techniques and much more. Eligibility requirements: Must be 18 years old; have no felony convictions; and be bilingual in English. High school diploma, six months of customer service experience and basic computer skills also required.
Digital Skills Training
Covers instruction in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint) in a state-of-the-art computer lab in preparation for employment in the ever evolving automated office environment. For more information, please Contact Us or call 856-439-0200, ext. 99227.
Forklift Certification Program
Intensive one day training session on safely operating three and four wheel counter-balanced lift trucks. Upon successful completion, participants receive a three year certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Provides both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to prepare participants to become licensed school bus drivers. Graduates attain Class B driver with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsements, making them eligible to drive school buses, commercial buses, limos, and delivery trucks. Provides previously incarcerated men and women with hands-on job training and a weekly paycheck in partnership with the City of Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Reintegration Services for Ex-Offenders (RISE).
