On July 11, 2024, students from Goodwill’s Helms Academy celebrated their high school graduation at the Camden County Boathouse, marking a significant milestone as they moved their tassels from right to left. Thelonius, who excelled in Math and achieved the highest overall scores, expressed his joy and surprise at the accomplishment. “I didn’t expect this; I’m glad that I came,” he shared, beaming with pride.
Having struggled at other schools, Thelonius praised Helms Academy for its support and opportunities and is now excited about his future in fiction, film, and music.
“As someone who had to drop out of multiple schools, I didn’t drop out of Helms.”
