Just a year ago, Janiyah wasn’t sure she would ever finish high school.
Like many students facing personal and educational challenges, earning her diploma felt increasingly out of reach. She knew she wanted more for her future, but finding the right path forward seemed difficult.
Everything changed when she enrolled in Goodwill’s Helms Academy.
Through the program’s supportive learning environment, guidance, and personalized approach, Janiyah was able to focus on her goals and work toward earning her high school equivalency diploma. Her dedication and determination paid off as she completed the program in record time, opening doors to opportunities she once thought were beyond her reach.
Today, Janiyah is continuing her education at the Community College of Philadelphia, where she is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.
