A suspicious fire recently struck a local Goodwill store. Fortunately, there were no injuries. Goodwill’s Egg Harbor Township, NJ store located at 6701 Black Horse Pike in Atlantic County is temporarily closed and a fire investigation is underway.
Smoke and water damage destroyed 100% of the store’s inventory which was so generously donated by Goodwill donors. That is why the nonprofit organization is reaching out to the local community once again for support in rebuilding its inventory.
Donations of clothing, accessories, shoes, toys, housewares, and more are encouraged. Goodwill’s Egg Harbor Township donation center, located in the rear of the building, remains OPEN and operating under its normal business hours (Monday – Saturday from 9 am – 7 pm and Sunday from 10 am – 6 pm). Donations are also being collected at 30+ locations throughout Southern/Central NJ and the City of Philadelphia. To find a site near you, please visit Goodwill’s store locator.
